Gambit releases MIMIC Simulator 8.30
MIMIC now has complete support for Windows Vista

 

 

Nashua, NH – July 9, 2007 Gambit Communications, the leading network and SNMP simulation tools provider, on the tenth anniversary of its MIMIC Simulator product, announced the release of MIMIC® Simulator version 8.30.

MIMIC supports SNMPv1, v2, v2c and v3, IPMI, DHCP, TFTP and ToD, Cisco IOS, TL1 and Cable Modem Simulation capabilities.

MIMIC 8.30 new features include:

  • Complete support for Windows Vista.
  • Conveniently track available virtual memory in the GUI. This will also give you indication if it is running low.
  • Support for the latest tools - Tcl/Tk 8.4.14, Tix 8.4.2, Tcllib 1.9.
  • Many fixes to enhance the performance.
  • More pre-compiled MIBs in the MIB library.
