Gambit Communications Wins INTERNATIONAL ENVIRONMENT - GREEN APPLE AWARD, Third Year in a Row
Nashua, NH - August 20, 2010
-- Gambit Communications, a leading provider of network simulation tools,
has been notified that it is among the major winners in the International
Green Apple Environment Awards. This is the third year in a row that Gambit
is honored with this prestigious award and will be presented at the
House of Parliament in London later this year.

Gambit has also been invited to join the International Green Heroes, an elite
group of environmental achievers who use their experience to help thousands of
others - and the environment - around the world. Some of the past winners include
Genzyme Ltd, Konica Minolta, Nissan Motor, BBC and many others.

"We are delighted to recognize the environmental endeavors of Gambit
Communications again." said Roger Wolens, National Organizer of The Green
Organisation. "For them to feature as a major winner for the whole of North
America for a third time is a remarkable achievement. We are now inviting
them to be one of our International Green Heroes so that we can communicate
their environmental expertise around the world and help others to learn from
their experience."

"We are honored to be recognized as an environmental company and to receive this
prestigious international award three times," said Uwe Zimmermann, President of
Gambit Communications. "This award demonstrates our commitment to deliver
networking software to help our customers transact business in an environmentally
responsible and sustainable manner. Our product, MIMIC Simulator, has been helping
companies in saving the energy, decrease the carbon footprint, and dramatically
reduce the IT equipment cost and space needed."

The use of MIMIC SNMP Simulator, Wireless Simulator, Cisco Simulator, Cable Modem
Simulator and IPMI Simulator decreases the electricity requirements by 90%, reduces
the current and future capital expense and removes the worry of recycling old
electronic products or properly disposing of electronic waste such as lead and mercury.

The Green Apple Awards began in 1994 and attracted more than 500 nominations this year.
They are organized by The Green Organisation, an independent, non-political, non-activist,
non-profit environment group dedicated to recognizing, rewarding and promoting
environmental best practice around the world.
